Sports is the priority of Government of Punjab. Sports Board Punjab is quite committed with its mission to provide best sports facilities to every sports lover and talented youth equally without any distinction. Sports board Punjab is focusing on uplifting the existing sports infrastructure in rural areas rather than the posh ones for the equal provision of sports activities among the public. To meet the future challenges, sports gymnasiums, playgrounds and Stadiums are also being constructed in the remote areas to extend the sports among all the cities of Punjab. Youth will be benefited by the multiple sports facilities including Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Cricket Net, Cricket Pitches, Badminton, Akhara, Open Gym, Jogging Track and Kids Play Area. Astro turfs and tartan tracks are being laid in the stadiums. High tech floodlights are also being installed for day and night sports activities.
