Punjab Games 2022 starting from 24 - 27 October 2022 at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex Lahore in which competitions of 30 games will be held including 08 games for women players. Special Olympics, Paralympics & Transgender events are also included in the biggest Sports Extravaganza. Over 5000 players and officials will feature in the mega event. Sports contingents from Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad will also participate in the grand event. A torch-bearer rally for the Punjab Games will be taken out on Oct 22. As many as 18 administrative committees will be formed for the smooth holding of major events. 35 hotels have also been arranged for participating athletes. As many as 20 sports events will be organized in Nishtar Park Sports Complex venues while squash and cycling events will be organized at Punjab Squash Complex and DHA respectively. Thousands of male and female players from across the province participated in the trials. Punjab Chief Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi will inaugurate Punjab Games at a grand opening ceremony on October 24.
