Under the leadership of the Chief Minister Punjab, the Youth Affairs & Sports Department proudly presents a groundbreaking initiative – the Sports Board Punjab Training & Coaching Academies. This initiative is set to revolutionize the sporting landscape for students in both public and private sector schools across Punjab. Our aim is to foster and refine the inherent sporting talent of our youth while promoting a healthier and more active lifestyle through extracurricular activities.
Key Details:
Duration: October 5th, 2023, to January 27th, 2024.
Location: Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore.
Days and Timing: Every Thursday to Saturday, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Sports Offered:
- Athletics: A foundation for physical fitness and endurance.
- Indoor Games & Cricket (Divisional Level): Enhance teamwork and cricket skills.
- Table Tennis: Sharpen your reflexes and hand-eye coordination.
- Karate: Learn self-defense techniques and discipline.
- Gymnastics: Develop flexibility, strength, and grace.
- Taekwondo: Master the art of Taekwondo.
- Badminton: Improve agility and court skills.
- Swimming: Enhance aquatic skills.
- Tennis: Learn the basics of tennis.
- Wushu: Discover the ancient Chinese martial art.
- Self Defense: Gain essential self-defense skills.
- Archery: Develop precision and focus.
- Football: Foster teamwork and soccer skills.
- Hockey: Learn the art of field hockey.
Training Sessions:
Separate training sessions for male and female players, tailored to the nature of each sport.
Fees:
Swimming: Rs. 5000 per month.
All other sports: Rs. 2000 per month.
