Train the trainers program is being under taken in the supervision of DG Sports Zulfiqar Ghumman. Physical Scientists, Coaches & Eminent Sports personalities of National & International Stature were invited to train the Coaches, Physical Science Teachers and Sports related persons. It’s a great initiative and achievement by the Sports Board of Punjab for it’s trainers to get the updated modern international level knowledge by the international coaches. This program is the best way of learning new and international level standards to change the attitudes and behaviors of our coaches. It’s a great opportunity for them to learn how to make a player achieve the highest task being persistent while equipped with excellent winning approach in the international competitions.
More than 60 coaches, District Sports Officers and Division Officer Sports participated in the SBP’s International “Train the Trainers” program. Beverley Burton and Brian Steel delivered the lectures to the coaches and field officers in training session .On the second day of the program, the training team introduced the coaches about latest techniques in enhancing sports passion and enthusiasm, also told them ways to maximize the energy of athletes by setting specific goals and mindsets to attain their performance high. The trainers provided the training at multimedia and given their teams the tasks for demonstration and further on discussed about the crux of their performances. On the closing ceremony of Sports Board Punjab’s 3 Days “Train the Trainers” program, the international sports experts Beverley Burton and Bryan Steel highly cherished the talent they found in the youth of Pakistan. They appreciated the keenness and high potential of local coaches to prosper and promote their sports knowledge and learning. while talking to the media they said, “We had the memorable stay here in Pakistan and we feel proud that we imparted training to very talented coaches who were ready to learn with their active minds and devotion. Pakistan is the most suitable country for any kind of Sports, it has great name in the field of Cricket throughout the world and we are hopeful, this vigilant youth will thrive into the sports here in Pakistan. We have been provided with best hospitality and we are thankful for Sports Board for inviting us and giving one of the best memories”. The Director General Sports Punjab Zulifqar Ghumman presented the souvenirs to the guests including Beverley Burton, Bryan Steel and Dr Suhail Anjum in the end of the training session and thanked them for their cooperation in visiting Pakistan.
