As the international cricket has been revived completely in the country, Pakistan will get long-lasting benefits from this revival in the shape of a bunch of talented cricketers, Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said this on the eve of West Indies team’s 3-match T20 series.
Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said the visit of West Indies cricket team will send a clear message to the whole world that Pakistan is a country of peaceful and sports-loving people. Pakistan has produced dozens of world class cricket players such as Hanif Muhammad, Fazal Mahmood, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Inzamamul Haq and Younis Khan in the past. The way international cricket teams are touring Pakistan regularly, our country will get several international stars as a result of these tours,” he added.
Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada further said that the future of cricket and other games are bright in Pakistan. “Pakistan will regain its lost glory in the game of cricket, hockey, squash and snooker in near future,” he expressed his hope
