Punjab Sports Minister Jahangir Khanzada, Secretary Sports Aamir Jan greet wrestler Inam Butt for winning Pakistan's first gold in C’wealth Games

Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada and Secretary Sports Muhammad Aamir Jan heaped praise on talented wrestler Mohammad Inam Butt for winning Pakistan's first gold medal in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2018 at Gold Coast, Australia. They also lauded the performance of wrestler Tayyab Raza, who won yet another bronze medal for the country the same day. “Inam made the entire nation proud with his gold medal winning performance.” They expressed the hope that Pakistan contingent will clinch more medals in the remaining competitions of the mega event.
Overall, this is Pakistan’s fifth medal at first gold medal at Commonwealth Games 2018. Two other wrestlers Mohammad Bilal and Tayyab Raza won the bronze while weightlifters Talha Talib and Nooh Butt also bagged bronze medals in their respective categories.
