Sports Board Punjab completes all arrangements to hold Blind Cricket World Cup matches

Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on Saturday said that Sports Board Punjab h as completed all the arrangements for the holding of Blind Cricket World Cup in a befitting manner. The Blind Cricket World Cup is set to start at various venues in Pakistan from January 8, 2018. It may be recalled here that United Arab Emirates (UAE) will also host some of the matches of Blind Cricket World Cup. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on the eve of Blind Cricket World Cup, said Punjab govt has chalked out a comprehensive plan to hold the mega event smoothly. “Strict directions have been issued to all concerned departments to show their absolute performance on this important occasion,” he added. It may be noted here that Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on behalf of Punjab govt, has awarded a cheque of Rs 2 crore to Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) for the proper conducting of Blind Cricket World Cup matches. “The appropriate arrangements have also been made to offer international level hospitality to participating teams and visiting officials,” he elaborated. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said Pakistan hosted plenty of top level cricket and other sports events in recent past and chances are quite bright for Pakistan to organize more international sports matches in the coming months.
