Punjab players enriched with great sports talent: Secretary Sports Muhammad Aamir Jan

Secretary Sports Muhammad Aamir Jan said the Punjab players are enriched with great sports talent. “Punjab grabbed top position in Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Games 2016 and we will defend our title in the forthcoming 2nd edition of Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Games being held at Islamabad from December 25-29, 2017,” he expressed these views during his visit of Quaid-i-Azam Day Wushu Championship at Sports Board Punjab Gymnasium Hall here. It’s pertinent to mention here that the wushu championship will also act as qualification event for upcoming Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Games. The trials committee gave a detailed briefing to Secretary Sports Muhammad Aamir Jan about the trials process. It is worth mentioning that the trials for the selection of Punjab athletics, hockey, football (men), badminton, baseball, tennis, taekwondo, kabaddi, judo, boxing, wrestling, squash, netball and snooker teams will be held at various venues in Lahore on December 14, 2017.
