Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi and Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan inspected sports complexes at Sheikhupura, Shahkot and Nankana Sahib. Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi and Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan inspected the civil work, floodlights and astro-turf and various under-construction parts at all three sports complexes. Talking to media, Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi said that the international standard sports facilities like football ground, hockey ground equipped with astro turf, basketball court, jogging track and lawn tennis court are being constructed at Sheikhupura sports complex. Similarly, football and hockey grounds are being built at Nankana sports complex while the Shahkot sports complex also has world class sports amenities. To a question, Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi said around 70 grounds laced with floodlights and around 25 hockey grounds equipped with astro turf are being constructed across the province.
