The laser run competitions will be held at Punjab Stadium with the collaboration of Sports Board Punjab (SBP) and Pakistan Modern Pentathlon Federation on November 7, 2017. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan will grace the occasion as chief guest. Around 300 players expected to feature in the laser run competitions. Meanwhile, Punjab emerged winners in 4th National Championship running and shooting competitions with 1870 points. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remained runners-up with 1790 points while Azad Jammu Kashmir got third spot with 1573 points. Islamabad finished 4th with 1315 points followed by Sindh 1223 and Balochistan 1040 points respectively. Former IG Punjab Police Ch Yaqoob distributed prizes among successful players. President Pakistan Modern Pentathlon Federation Riaz Fitiana, Vice-President Mian Safdar, Secretary Punjab Olympic Association Idris Haider Khawaja and Secretary Pakistan Modern Pentathlon Federation Zahoor Ahmed were also present in the prize distribution ceremony.
