Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan has welcomed the players of Sri Lankan cricket team and said that the tour of Sri Lankan cricketers will be a milestone for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan. In a statement on Sunday, Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan expressed his hope that more international teams will tour Pakistan after the Sri Lankan cricket team. The tour of Sri Lankan cricket team is a message for rest of the world that Pakistan is a safe country and other sports teams of the world must visit Pakistan without any hesitation. It’s not the first time Pakistan is hosting an international cricket team. Pakistan has hosted Zimbabwe, World XI and PSL final match in recent past which is a big proof of changed scenario and improved security situation in Pakistan.
