 Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has established an Emergency Response Centre at National Hockey Stadium for the 3rd T20 International match being played against Sri Lanka at Gaddafi Stadium on Oct 29. Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, inspected Sports Board Punjab’s Emergency Response Centre. He directed the staff concerned to remain alert to cope with any emergency. “Any negligence in the performance of prescribed duties will not be tolerated,” he strictly said in his statement. Chief Security Officer SBP Col (retd) Shabbir briefed Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan about the working of Emergency Response Centre and CC TV Control Room system. The officials from Police, LDA, City District Govt, Lahore Waste Management Company, WASA and LESCO will be present in the Emergency Response Centre to cope with any untoward situation. Col (retd) Shabbir informed that as many as 94 CC TV cameras are functional in Nishtar Park Sports Complex to make it a perfect fool proof security system. “Every nook and corner of Nishtar Park Sports Complex is in the range of CC TV cameras. Every movement in and outside Gaddafi Stadium will also be monitored 24 hours through modern CC TV cameras.
