Sports Board Punjab has established a 20-bed makeshift hospital at the National Hockey Stadium for the 3rd T20 International scheduled to be played against Sri Lanka on Oct 29 at Gaddafi Stadium. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on Friday, visited the makeshift hospital and inspected all the arrangements. Focal Person General Hospital Dr Islam Haider, Director Admin Javed Rasheed Chohan, Deputy Director Tariq Wattoo, Assistant Director Rana Nadeem Anjum and other officers were also present on this occasion. He also issued necessary directions to doctors and paramedical staff for the smooth running of the hospital. An operation theater and blood bank have also been established in the 20-bed hospital.
