Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan has congratulated Pakistan’s chess master Mehmood Lodhi and wrestler Mohammad Inam for their title-winning performances in their respective competitions. In his felicitation message, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on Monday, lauded the performance of chess master Mehmood Lodhi, who won Asian Senior Chess Championship in Auckland, New Zealand and wrestler Mohammad Inam, who lifted gold medal in the Beach World Wrestling Championship in Dalyan, Turkey.Lodhi, who featured in the Asian Senior Chess Championship with the cooperation of Sports Board Punjab, played nine matches in the event in which he won six and lost just one while two matches ended in draw. Pakistan's star wrestler Mohammad Inam upstaged former world champion Pejman Fazlollah Tabar Naghrachi of Iran in the -90 kilogramme freestyle final clash to clinch the coveted gold medal.
