While addressing an important meeting at Sports Board Punjab, Chairman Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Steering Committee Hanif Abbasi said that sports culture will get huge boost in the province after the completion of sports projects. Effective measures are being taken to provide sports facilities at the door steps to the youth of the province. He advised the concerned officers to complete the remaining work as early as possible. The undue delay in the completion of these projects will not be tolerated. The meeting discussed new schemes and checked the status of schemes besides approving the annual planning of 2017-18. Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said qualified coaches and consultants have been appointed in every district to trace new talent. “The coaches have started their work in their respective areas and we will find a big lot of new players very soon. Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said that the youngsters are being provided full opportunities to express their talent. The arrangement has also been completed to train the raw talent of the province so that they can earn laurels for the country.
