Sports Board Punjab arranged prize distribution ceremony in honour of medal winners of 5th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games at Sports Board Punjab. The medal winners were given cash prizes during the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ghumman said the ju-jitsu players won seven medals in 5th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games fully deserved to be encouraged. Our doors are open for all games. We will do whatever possible for the growth of ju-jitsu in the province. Praising the performance of medal winners, he said ju-jitsu players presented a suitable gift to nation in the shape of medals. Seven out of 13 players clinched medals which is highly appreciable, MNA Shaza Fatima Khawaja in her address said, The medal winners of 5th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games did a wonderful job. I’m quite happy to see two women among the medal winners.MPA Qaiser Sindhu, President Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation Khalil Ahmed Khan, General Secretary Waqar Ilyas, Director Sports Muhammad Anees Sheikh and Nadeem Bhatti were also present in the ceremony.
