Pakistan Blues edged out Pakistan Greens by a narrow margin of 3-2 on penalty shoot outs after a tough Jashan-e-Azadi hockey match at National Hockey Stadium. Both the teams showed great fighting game and attacked their opponents goal post several times. The match finished as 1-1 draw after the stipulated time. Faizan Ali netted the goal for Pakistan Blues while Pakistan Greens’ lone goal was scored by Abid Bhatti. Later, in the penalty shoot out battle, Pakistan Blues emerged winners by 3-2 through some excellent game from their captain Khalid Bhatti.
