Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has presided over an important meeting at the National Hockey Stadium on Thursday to review the performance of the Youth Affairs Wing over the past six months.
Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Vice-Chairman Salman Malik, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Director Youth Affairs M Fahad, Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed and other officials attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar directed the officials concerned to prepare a detailed presentation on the events of e-sports. “Definitely, it is the need of hour to promote the emerging sports and introduce new initiatives for the younger generation”.
Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar stressed that comprehensive planning is essential to promote e-sports and provide greater opportunities to the youth. “Punjab Sports Department is fully focusing on developing young people's skills and creating new avenues for their growth and progress in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”.
Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the promotion of modern sports would play a significant role in opening up new opportunities for the younger generation. “Punjab government is committed to providing young people with opportunities to participate in modern sports and supporting initiatives aimed at nurturing their talent and potential”.
