Secretary Sports Punjab Fazal-ur-Rehman has presided over a review meeting at the Punjab Stadium on Monday following the successful conclusion of the Pak-China Friendship Games 2026.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Additional Secretary Shabbir Hussain Cheema, Director Youth Affairs M Fahad, all administrators and other officials participated in the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the organisation and conduct of the Pak-China Friendship Games in detail, including both positive and critical aspects, with a view to further improving the arrangements for future events. The meeting also discussed the lessons learnt from the games and assessed the overall arrangements to identify areas for further improvement.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports Punjab Fazal-ur-Rehman appreciated the efforts of all officers and members of the organising team for successful holding of Pak-China Friendship Games. “All the officers and members of their teams worked hard with full dedication and commitment to make the games a success”.
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazal-ur-Rehman said the friendship between Pakistan and China is ‘higher than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans’. “The Pak-China Friendship Games have been organised to celebrate the enduring Pak-China friendship in a befitting and vibrant manner”.
