Sports Board Punjab organized a solidarity rally on Kashmir Exploitation Day to express unwavering support for the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi led the rally, which commenced from the National Hockey Stadium and concluded at Gaddafi Stadium. A large number of officers and employees of the Punjab Sports Department participated in the rally. Deputy Directors Zahoor Ahmed, Yasmeen Akhtar and Zarina Waqar, along with other departmental officials, also took part in the rally.
The participants of the rally chanted slogans in support of the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed their solidarity with their struggle. They also strongly condemned the continued human rights violations and atrocities being committed in occupied Kashmir.
Addressing the participants, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi condemned the continued human rights violations in the occupied territory and said that Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein. “India continued to exploit and oppress the people of occupied Kashmir through its illegal actions which is highly condemnable”.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi emphasized that the entire Pakistani nation stands firmly behind the Kashmiri people's legitimate right to self-determination and freedom. “Pakistan will continue its unwavering moral and diplomatic support for the just cause of Kashmir”.
