Punjab Youth Affairs and Sports Department's Capacity Building Program and Level One course concluded with an impressive closing ceremony held at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP) on Thursday.
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman was the chief guest on this occasion. DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Dr. Asad Abbas and Dr. Ijaz Asghar were also present on this occasion. They also distributed certificates among the coaches.
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman was presented a souvenir by DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and Principal Chand Parveen at the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman said that 35 coaches of Punjab were trained for 17 days at Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab. "Training of sports officers and coaches is part of our Annual Sports Calendar".
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman said that now the trained coaches should go to the field and train the players. "The top level training has been arranged to equip our coaches with modern techniques and developments".
Secretary Sports Punjab Fazlur Rehman further said that Capacity Building Program is very important for the bright future of sports. "The participation in the Capacity building program is mandatory for every field officer once a year".
