CEO RUDA Imran Amin called on Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fazlur Rehman at Punjab Stadium on Thursday.
During the important meeting, the location and construction of Sports City was reviewed in detail. CEO RUDA Imran Amin gave a detailed briefing regarding Sports City.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Mohammad Tariq Qureshi, Additional Secretary Sports Shabbir Hussain Cheema, Director PMU Sports and other officials were also present in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fazlur Rehman said that Punjab Sports Department is going to build Pakistan's first ever Sports City in Lahore. “The construction of Sports City has great significance for the development of sports. The Sports City will be constructed in multiple phases.”
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fazlur Rehman said that modern sports complexes and stadiums will be built in Sports City in which international standard facilities will be provided. “RUDA is acquiring land for Sports City. All essential measures are being taken for the development of sports in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”.
