Punjab Sports Department is giving final touches to arrangements of upcoming Chief Minister Punjab National Marathon and Cycling Race on the directions of Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, in this regard, inspected the marathon route and registration booths on Friday. Deputy Director Chaudhry Zahoor Ahmed and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that the Chief Minister Punjab National Marathon and Cycling Race will be the biggest event in the country’s sports history. “The registration figure in the CM marathon, cycling race and fun race has exceeded 11,000 mark”.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi further said that best facilities will be provided to all the participating athletes of CM marathon, cycling race and fun race. “The officials of Rescue 1122, traffic police and other departments will also be present during the mega event”.
