Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has congratulated the newly elected officials of the Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL).
Senior journalist Aqeel Ahmed was elected President, Yusuf Anjum elected Secretary General while Afzal Iftikhar was elected Treasurer unopposed in the General Body meeting of Sports Journalists Association of Lahore at the National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar expressed his best wishes for the winners and said the sports journalists are playing an important role in the promotion of sports. “It is hoped that the new leadership will further promote positive and quality sports coverage”.
