Vice-Chairman Sports Board Punjab Suleman Malik said that the consultation to form the Sports Board Punjab committee for the elections of sports associations has been completed.
Vice Chairman Sports Board Punjab Suleman Malik said this while presiding over an important meeting at the National Hockey Stadium on Thursday. Several important decisions were taken regarding transparency in the elections of sports association in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Director Sports Chand Parveen, Deputy Director Admin Zahoor Ahmed, Punjab Olympic Association CEO Idris Haider Khawaja and Secretary M Waqar.
Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairman Sports Board Punjab Suleman Malik said that the main objective of SBP committee is to ensure transparency in the elections of sports association. “Representatives of Punjab Olympic Association and Sports Board Punjab will be present in the committee”.
Vice Chairman Sports Board Punjab Suleman Malik said that best steps are being taken for the development of sports culture across the Punjab province in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief minister. “Sports Board Punjab is providing suitable platform to talented athletes to exhibit their sports potential in best possible manner”.
