Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Vice Chairman Suleman Malik presided over an important meeting of SBP Human Resource (HR) Committee at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
The meeting was convened to formulate a mechanism regarding the appointments of coaches and trainers in Sports Board Punjab.
Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum, Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed, CEO Punjab Olympic Association Idris Haider Khawaja, Secretary M Waqar and the trainers appointed in Sports Board Punjab also participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, SBP Vice Chairman Suleman Malik said the best coaches and trainers play an important role in the development of players. “There will be no compromise on the qualification and merit of the coaches. There are several best trainers and coaches, who are serving in Sports Board Punjab”.
Sports Board Punjab Vice Chairman Suleman Malik said that the prime obligation of Punjab Sports Department is promotion of sports culture across all divisions of Punjab. “Punjab Sports Department is taking effective measures for the development of sports especially in the far-flung areas of the province.”
