Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi has assumed the charge of his office in Sports Board Punjab (SBP) on Friday.
Upon arrival at National Hockey Stadium, senior sports officers presented a bouquet to Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi. He also visited National Hockey Stadium and Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall. Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum were also present on this occasion.
After taking charge, Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said he will take every possible measure for the growth of sports culture in the province under the leadership of Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said that there is plenty of sports potential in the Punjab province. “We need to hold regular sports competitions to trace fresh sports talent especially from far flung areas of the province,” he added.
