Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has announced to solarize Government Graduate Degree College, Marghzar very soon, upgrade the chemistry lab of the college and provide a projector as well. He made these announcements while addressing a sports seminar at the Government Graduate Degree College, Marghzar on Wednesday.
Principal Rubina Kamal, teachers, admin, related staff and a large number of students were also present on this occasion.
During his address, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar also announced to build a sports complex for the college as a gift and include a top performing student Eshal Munawwar, who clinched eight medals, in Punjab Sports Endowment Fund. Besides this, the provincial minister also announced to provide furniture to the college from his own pocket and also assured to provide a bus for the college.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Punjab government is taking significant measures to bring youth, especially the girls, into the field of leadership. “It is a matter of pride for women that the Chief Minister of Punjab is a woman. All the basic facilities will be provided to students of the college and there will be no shortage of funds in this regard”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that it is a matter of pride that in 2010 the foundation stone of the college was laid by Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar. “Efforts are being made to introduce a mechanism under which sports marks will be awarded to top performing students in educational institutions”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar further said there has been significant improvement in the law and order situation across the province. “Several effective measures are being taken for the introduction of vital reforms in the police system and eradication of corruption from the police department”.
Elaborating further, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that immediate police assistance will be available through the panic button system. “Punjab government has also introduced modern transport system under which electric buses are in operation for the convenience of general public”.
