Country's biggest cycling ride and race will be organized in Lahore on January 25, 2026 (Sunday) under the banner of Punjab Sports Department. Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar will be the chief guest of historic cycle race and ride. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muhammad Ali, Director General Sports Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum, Director Admin Abid Shaukat and several other notable figures will also be present on this occasion. There will be four parts of mega cycle race – cycle ride, boys’ cycle race, girls’ cycle race and children’s cycle race. The upcoming mega cycling event will be Punjab Sports Department's first major sports activity of the year 2026. Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar will also ride a bicycle during the cycle ride in which more than 500 cyclists are expected to participate. The cycle ride will start from Liberty Chowk Manal and culminate at Liberty Chowk after passing through CBD Kalma Chowk. The girls, boys and children races will go round the Gaddafi Stadium from the entrance gate Nishtar Park Sports Complex Liberty Chowk side and end in front of Gaddafi Stadium. After the completion of four races, the closing ceremony will be held at the National Hockey Stadium where cash prizes will be distributed among the top position holders.
