A delegation of Time Technologies called on Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry and other officers concerned participated in the meeting.
Development of innovative software and mobile app for Punjab Sports Department were discussed in detail during the meeting. Various suggestions and recommendations were also made on the effective use of technology in the field of sports.
The delegation of Time Technologies briefed Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar about multiple features about digital software and mobile app.
During the briefing, it was informed that online booking of sports complexes, grounds and other facilities will be possible through the proposed app. The app will also include advanced features of asset management, personal management and data recording.
The Provincial Sports Minister was briefed that a complete record of all sports assets will be stored under a digital system. The decisions will be made based on data through report and analysis system, the briefing said.
Talking to the delegation Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the sports system across the province is being made transparent, organized and accountable. “Each player must have a unique identity that will be protected on a permanent basis”.
Punjab Minister for Sports Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that digital identity and database are indispensable for the promotion of sports. “Digital system will eliminate corruption and mismanagement from Punjab Sports Department. A final and comprehensive draft of digital system should be prepared after removing all technical flaws”
