Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar’s cousin and PMLN’s MPA Malik Irfan Shafi Khokhar, who died on December 21, was laid to rest in Data Peer Pinjar graveyard on Monday.
Several provincial ministers, political, social figures, various government officials, notables and thousands of people from all walks of life participated in the funeral prayer of late MPA Malik Irfan Shafi Khokhar. Qari Zafar Ahmad Shah led the funeral prayer of Malik Irfan Shafi.
Late MPA Malik Irfan Shafi Khokhar was the son of senior political leader Malik Shafi Khokhar and nephew of MNA Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar and MNA Afzal Khokhar.
Those who participated in the funeral prayer of late MPA Malik Irfan Shafi Khokhar include MNA Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar, MNA Afzal Khokhar, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Malik Shafi Khokhar (father of late MPA), Provincial Ministers Khawaja Imran Nazir, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Bilal Yasin, Sher Ali Gorchani, MPAs Samiullah Khan, Mian Imran Javed, senior politician Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Chairman PHA Ghazali Saleem Butt, Mian Amir Mehmood, Malik Bilal Khokhar, former Mayor Lahore Malik Mubashir and Babar Mehmood.
In his condolence statement, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that he was deeply shocked to hear the news of the death of Malik Irfan Shafi Khokhar. The deceased was a sincere, noble and passionate person with a passion for public service. His sudden death is an irreparable loss to the entire family and the party.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul high ranks in Jannatul Firdous and courage to the bereaved family to bear this shock.
