Provincial Minister for Sports Punjab, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, formally inaugurated Sports Gala 2025 at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Niaz Baig, located in PP-168. On this occasion, various sports competitions including tug of war, races and other games were organized among the students, who participated with great enthusiasm and spirit.
The Provincial Minister visited different competitions of the Sports Gala and appreciated the talent and performance of the students. While addressing the gathering, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that sports play a vital role in keeping youth healthy, active and away from negative activities. He added that the Punjab Government is taking practical measures to promote sports in educational institutions across the province.
Later, the Provincial Minister planted a sapling at Government Graduate College for Girls under the plantation campaign. He appreciated the initiative of plantation on surplus land within educational institutions and stated that, under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, vacant spaces in educational institutions are being transformed into green and environment-friendly areas.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) deserves credit for establishing the first Government Girls College in constituency PP-168, which reflects the party’s education-friendly policies. He reiterated the government’s commitment to further strengthening the sectors of education, sports and environment in Punjab.
