Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has presided over an important meeting regarding Punjab’s mega sports projects at the National Hockey Stadium on Monday.
The key meeting was attended by Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial, Additional Secretary Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Abid Shaukat and officers from PMU. Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar was briefed in detail about Punjab’s all sports projects.
Addressing the meeting, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the Punjab Stadium will be upgraded as per international standards and definitely it will be a useful addition to Pakistan’s world class sports facilities. “Pakistan's world class squash complex is in the final stages of completion”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that dozens of state-of-the-art projects are being completed across the province. “88 new sports projects are being launched in Punjab this year while the construction work is in progress on 184 sports projects in all the districts of the province”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that further said that there will be no compromise on the quality of sports projects. “Punjab Sports Department is taking effective measures for the development sports culture in all parts of the province and inclining youth towards healthy sports activities in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”.
