Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has presided over an important meeting at the Punjab Stadium on Tuesday to review the Summer Sports Camps and other sports facilities of the province.
The meeting was attended by Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem and Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that Summer Sports Camps will help a lot in promoting sports culture across the province. "The holding of Summer Sports Camps across all divisions of the province simultaneously is a welcome sign".
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial directed the sports officers to provide the best facilities to all the players during Summer Sports Camps.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial further said that shops and markets have been constructed around stadiums in several cities, including Sialkot, Kahuta. "The construction of shops around stadiums will increase revenue of Sports Department revenue".
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the offices of 46 Tehsil Sports Officers will be shifted to Sports Stadiums in their respective tehsils. "The Sports arenas will also be constructed for special children," he added.
