Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that effective changes are being brought in the rules and regulations of Sports Board Punjab for the bright future of sports in the province. He expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting at the Punjab Stadium on Wednesday.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Mian Usman Ali, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem and other officials participated in the meeting. Director General Sports Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry briefed the meeting about the new rules and regulations of Sports Board Punjab.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that Tehsil, District and Divisional Sports Committees will be formed to improve the sports and administrative affairs in all parts of the province. “The Audit Committee and Human Resource (HR) Committee will also be constituted for ensuring transparency in the financial affairs of the Sports Board Punjab”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that a Monitoring Cell will be established for the best development of sports facilities across the province. “Besides this, new lease laws will also be introduced to ensure financial stability in Sports Board Punjab”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial further said that Sports Board Punjab is being transformed into a comprehensive and effective department for the development of sports culture among the younger generation throughout the Punjab province.
