Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has presided over an important meeting to review development sports schemes of ADP 2024-25 at Punjab Stadium on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem, Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum, Deputy Director Tariq Khanzada and other officials. Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza briefed the meeting.
The meeting reviewed 10 sports development schemes. Besides this, the construction of 3-storey indoor sports facility at Nishtar Park Sports Complex was also discussed in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the facilities of table tennis, snooker arena and board games will be built in the 3-storey indoor sports facility. “The work on sports development schemes is underway all over province”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial further said that the best sports infrastructure is being constructed in all parts of Punjab province. “Every possible step is being taken for the development of sports culture among the younger generation”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that several sports facilities, stadiums and complexes will be upgraded and rehabilitated. “Shops and food streets will be constructed around sports complexes and stadiums in various cities of Punjab province”.
