Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has directed the officials concerned to complete the sports development schemes of Lahore Division as early as possible.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial issued these directions while chairing an important meeting at the Punjab Stadium on Monday.
The meeting was convened to review the 35 under construction sports development schemes of Lahore Division. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial was given detailed briefing with the help of slides and photographs.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, Additional Secretary Sports Mian Usman Ali, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza and other official were present in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the work is underway on 22 sports development schemes of Lahore, 9 in Kasur, and 3 in Sheikhupura. “Top standard sports complexes and grounds are being constructed in all districts of the province”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that Punjab Sports Department has the latest sports infrastructure. “There will be no compromise on quality of material in under construction sports schemes”.
