Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has chaired an important meeting regarding new development sports schemes at Punjab Stadium on Tuesday.
Additional Secretary Sports Punjab Mian Usman Ali, Deputy Secretary Sports, Director Youth Affairs Syed Umair Hassan, Project Director Project Management Unit (PMU) Qaiser Raza, Programme Coordinator M Fahad, Section Officer Mirza Nadeem and other officials also attended the meeting. Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza gave a detailed briefing in the meeting.
The progress of 35 sports schemes of new ADP was reviewed in detail during the meeting. Besides this, the working and different issues of Chief Minister Internship Programme were also reviewed in a separate meeting.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has directed the officers concerned to complete the under construction sports schemes as early as possible.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that new sports schemes are in progress in all the districts of the province while several previous sports schemes are being restored. “Modern sports infrastructure is being established across the province in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial further said that effective steps are being taken for the development of sports culture in all parts of the province. “Providing the best facilities to all talented male and female players is the top priority of Punjab Sports Department”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the sports culture will develop to a great extent with the restoration of sports scheme. “Punjab Sports Department is utilizing all possible resources and constructing multipurpose sports complexes and grounds for the promotion of sports trends among the younger generation of the province,” he added.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial directed the officers concerned to ensure the delivery of ATM cards to all internees as early as possible. All the focal persons of Chief Minister Internship Programme have also been ordered to ensure the payments to all internees.
