The registration process of biggest ever Khelta Punjab Games 2024 has started in all tehsils, districts and divisions of Punjab. The registration process will continue from September 20 to 27.
The under-22 players will be able to participate in the Khelta Punjab Games. The players born on or after December 13, 2002 will be eligible to participate in these games. The players belonging to department will not be allowed to participate in the grand event.
In this regard, Director General Sports Punjab has issued instructions to all the sports officers of province that sports is the right of every citizen and all sports officers should actively participate in the registration process of Khelta Punjab Games.
The competitions of inter-club at district level, inter-district events at division level and inter-division events at provincial level will be organized in Khelta Punjab Games. The hefty cash prizes of more than 10 crores will be distributed among top performing players. As many as six games - Athletics, Cricket (Tape Ball), Badminton, Football, Hockey and Kabaddi competitions will be organized at inter-club level from 2nd to 11th October.
The players can register themselves at their respective tehsil, district and division offices and besides this they can also register online by scanning the QR code provided by Sports Board Punjab.
A meeting of the officers of Lahore Division was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum, in which the sports officers of Lahore and representatives of sports associations participated. The rules of Khelta Punjab Games have been issued to participants of meeting. They also have been directed to participate fully in the registration process.
