A delegation of APCA Union Sports Department on Monday has congratulated Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Pervez Iqbal on his promotion to Grade 20.
The APCA Union Sports Department Punjab officials including President Fiaz Ali, Secretary Nabeel Akram and others presented a bouquet to Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal at his office.
Talking to the delegation of APCA Union Sports Department on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that the development of sports across the Punjab province is the mission and aim of Sports Board Punjab for which we are utilizing all of our energies and resources. “Besides building new sports complexes, the sports facilities in dilapidated condition in different areas of the province are also being rehabilitated,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal further said that Sports Board Punjab in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is working on several projects for the promotion and development of sports culture among the younger generation of the province. “We are also organizing multiple sports events to trace fresh talented male and female athletes from all parts of the province,” he maintained.
