Olympian javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, who is currently preparing for the Paris Olympics at Punjab Stadium, called on Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar on this occasion assured Arshad Nadeem of all possible cooperation and support for his Olympics preparation.
Speaking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Arshad Nadeem is the pride of Pakistan. “We are quite upbeat that he will win a gold medal for the country in the Paris Olympic Games,” he added.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar further said that orders have been issued to start the construction of Arshad Nadeem Stadium in Mian Channu as early as possible. “Arshad is a true role model for the young athletes of the country. A special ceremony will be organised to encourage Arshad Nadeem before his departure for the Paris Olympics,” he added.
