Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that a comprehensive plan is being prepared for the true growth of sports in the province; he expressed these views while chairing an important meeting regarding new sports development projects at Punjab Stadium here on Thursday.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, Director Admin M Kaleem, Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum, Deputy Secretary Sports Marhaba Naimat, Deputy Director Planning Tariq Khanzada and other officials were also present on this occasion.
The ADP schemes of 2024-25, the completion of new sports projects and rehabilitation of old sports schemes were reviewed thoroughly.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that sports grounds will be built in such areas which have been deprived from these sports facilities. “All possible measures are being taken to provide best sports facilities to talented male and female athletes of the province,” he added.
