Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal visited Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab (ISSP) here Tuesday.
ISSP Principal Chand Parveen, Deputy director Zahoor Ahmed, Instructor Shaista Qaiser, Admin Officer Malik Nasir, Amir Shah and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Principal Chand Parveen and Admin Officer Nasir Malik gave a detailed briefing to DG Sports Punjab Parvez Iqbal on this occasion.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal expressed his indignation at the poor quality of cleanliness at ISSP. He directed the officers concerned to improve the quality of cleaning and sanitation.
DG Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal on this occasion directed the ISSP Principal to streamline administrative matters of Institute of Sports Sciences Punjab.
Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that the Institute of Sports Sciences is important for the development of sports. “All coaches of Punjab will be given modern training at this institute. Only a well-trained coach can produce a top class athlete,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal further said that the development of sports across the province is our mission. “The best master trainers should be brought to the institute for top standard training of our coaches and athletes,” he maintained.
