Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar calls on Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar at the Iranian Consulate General

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar called on Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar at the Iranian Consulate General on Tuesday.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar was accorded a warm welcome at the Iranian Consulate General. The possibility of sports competitions between the two countries were discussed in detail during the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that sports relations between Pakistan and Iran will be expanded and cultural and sports programmes will be organized between the two countries. “Joint sports committee between Pakistan and Iran will also be constituted and made functional”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar further said that the relations between the two Islamic countries will be strengthened further through sports. “Pakistan and Iran can cooperate with each other in several fields such as sports, culture, education, research, IT, science and technology to strengthen their mutual relations,” he added.
Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar on this occasion said that Pakistan is a country of sports lovers and there is a lot of talent of different games in this country. “The world's best sports equipment is produced in Pakistan’s city of Sialkot. The footballs made by Pakistan are famous all over the world which is definitely a great distinction”.
Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar on this occasion also presented a souvenir to Provincial Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
