Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial and Director Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz planted saplings outside Punjab Stadium as part of ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign on Thursday.
Additional Secretary Sports Farhan Farooq, Project Director PMU Qaiser Raza and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial and Director Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal and other dignitaries prayed for the prosperity and development of the country on this occasion.
Talking on this occasion, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that the ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign will play an important role in making our beloved country green and clean. “This campaign will also help a lot in the elimination of environmental pollution from our country,” he added.
Director Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that male and female citizens of all age groups should actively participate in the plantation drive. “A positive message is being given to the world community through ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign,” he said.
