Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar plants a sapling as part of ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign

LAHORE (March 21, 2024): Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz planted a sapling at National Hockey Stadium in connection with ‘Plant for Pakistan’ drive on Thursday.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, Director Admin M Kaleem, Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed, Deputy Director Ataur Rehman and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar also offered prayer for the development, progress and peace of the country on this occasion.
Talking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that planting maximum number of trees is need of the hour when our country is facing serious climatic challenges. “Definitely, it is a noble cause and every member of society must take part in this campaign with full passion”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the tree plantation campaign has been started in all sports offices of the Punjab province. “Keeping the environment clean and tidy is a common responsibility of all citizens and it is the only way to combat the serious challenge of climatic change”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the ‘Plant for Pakistan’ campaign will play an important role in making our beloved country green and clean. “This campaign will also help a lot in the elimination of environmental pollution from our country,” he added.
