Under the chairmanship of Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab, Mazhar Khan Sial, an important meeting was held on Thursday at Punjab Stadium regarding the sports calendar and the endowment fund. DG Sports Punjab, Pervez Iqbal, briefed the attendees on the sports calendar and the endowment fund. Additional Secretary Farhan Farooq, Director Admin Muhammad Kaleem, Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar, Deputy Directors Zahoor Ahmed and Atta ur Rahman were also present at the meeting. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab, Mazhar Khan Sial, stated that a review of the annual sports calendar is underway, aiming to thoroughly examine sports disciplines in the upcoming Punjab Games and Spring Games. He emphasized that their goal is the promotion and development of sports. A detailed review of the implementation of the endowment fund was also conducted during the meeting. Director-General Sports Punjab, Pervez Iqbal, mentioned that assistance will be provided to athletes through the endowment fund, and the funds from the endowment fund have been received by the Punjab Sports Board. Furthermore, various lease matters of different departments at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex were discussed during the meeting. Secretary Sports Punjab, Mazhar Khan Sial, directed to present the business model in front of new developmental schemes.
