Sports Board Punjab has planned to conduct women’s Pink Games and sports competitions of special children after Eidul Fitr.
In this regard, Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal has directed the officers concerned to submit a comprehensive plan to organize these events in a befitting manner.
In a statement on Wednesday, Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that our women have plenty of sports potential and the Pink Games will play an important role in nurturing women's sports talent. “We are quite upbeat to find out several talented female athletes through organizing Pink Games”.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal further said that Sports Board Punjab will continue to provide sufficient playing opportunities to female athletes of the province to express their hidden sports skills.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal further said that the large-scale sports competitions of special children will be held for the first time after Eid-ul-Fitr. “Special children are a valuable part of our society and we are planning to hold several sports events for them. These sports competitions will be held under the supervision of Punjab Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Khokhar and in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab”.
