Newly-appointed Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan and Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal called on Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar at his office at National Hockey Stadium here on Monday.
During the meeting, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan and Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal discussed multiple measures for the promotion of sports culture across the province.
While issuing instructions to Secretary Sports Punjab and DG Sports Punjab, the Provincial Sports Minister Punjab Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that all the under-construction sports development schemes should be completed on time. “The sports and healthy activities will be promoted among the younger generation according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz,” he added.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced that Khailta Punjab Sports Programme will be launched in near future. “Effective and timely steps would be taken to bring out new talent from all parts of the province under the Talent Hunt programme,” he added.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that transparency would be ensured in the completion of sports projects. “All possible measures will be taken for the development of sports in the province”.
