Punjab’s largest Player Development Programme has been launched under the auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department and Sports Board Punjab.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail in a statement on Friday said that a Sports Endowment Fund has been established with an amount of Rs 2 billion. “The present, former and deserving players of Punjab can submit their applications to the office of Director Sports and Coaching from February 15”.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail further said that the implementation of Punjab's huge Sports Endowment Fund has been started. “The amount of the Sports Endowment Fund will be spent for the welfare of the deserving athletes,” he added.
